Articles of Faith

1. We believe the Scriptures of the Old & New Testaments to be verbally inspired by God & without error in the original autographs. (2 Timothy 3:15, 2 Peter 1:20-21), They are of supreme and final authority in faith, life, and standards of education.


2. We believe in one God, the creator of heaven and earth who eternally exists in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26, John 10:30, Hebrews 1:1-2, John 14:16-17, Matthew 28:19)


3. We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, the Eternal Word manifested in the flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, true God and true man (John 1:1-3, 14). We believe that He died for our sins and that, according to Romans 10:9-10, all who "confess with their mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." We also believe that He lives on high as Head of the Church, and shall return to be glorified in His saints and judge those who did not obey the gospel. (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10)


4. We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God. We also believe that through Adam sin entered the world and as a consequence death spread to all (Romans 5:12). Thus, sin rules and reigns in the heart of man and apart from Jesus Christ there is no freedom from its power (John 8:34-36).


5. We believe that salvation is wholly "by grace through faith," free to all who believe and receive the substitutionary blood atonement of Jesus Christ who died and rose again in our place in order that we might be declared righteous, and adopted into the family of God.


6. We believe that the Holy Spirit, being the Third person of the Godhead, convicts men of sin and regenerates sinners from death to life." We believe that He guides and transforms our minds and hearts by the word of God so that we walk in a manner pleasing and honoring to the Son of God, Jesus Christ. (John 16:13-14, Romans 12:2)
