DRESS CODE

A dress code has been established which is neat, clean and affordable, and does not draw undue attention to the physical body. Our philosophy of dress is to build character through respect for authority, to be a testimony through modesty, and to create an atmosphere appropriate for a Christ-centered education.

• Pants/Slacks/Capri/Cropped: Chino/Docker type, pleated or plain front, in khaki, navy, gray and black, belted, fit properly and worn at waist level. Corduroy is acceptable, as long as it meets the style and color requiremtns.  No jeans, sweat or warm-up pants.
• Shorts/Skorts: Dress shorts, pleated or plain front, khaki, navy, gray and black, fingertip length.  Corduroy is acceptable.
• Shirts/Blouses: Long or short-sleeved polo shirts, with a collar the same color as the shirt. Oxford shirts with either long or short sleeves.  Turtlenecks or mock turtlenecks with either long or short sleeves.  Blouses with a collar (may be Peter Pan style).  All shirts must be tucked in.  The following colors are allowed:  navy, blue, white, yellow, red, burgundy, gray, green and black.  Girls may also wear solid color pink and purple.
• Sweaters: Crew-neck pullover, button-up cardigan, V-neck sweater or sweater vest styles. Sweaters must be worn over a dress code shirt.  Choice of a solid color: navy, blue, white, yellow, red, burgundy, gray, green or black. Girls may also wear pink and purple.  No sweaters with piping, emblems, trim, pictures, zippers, embroidery, beading, sequins, rhinestones or any other embellishments.  No sweaters with hoods, sweatshirts, fleeces or hoodies.
• Shoes/Sneakers:  Must be solid-color sneakers (stripes, piping or trim is acceptable), or dark/light colored soft-soled shoes with no high heels.  Must have laces, straps, velcro or buckles and the laces, straps, velcro and buckles must be closed.  No pictures, lights, wheels or anything that may be a distraction in any way.  No writing, personal or by others is allowed on shoe wear.
• Socks/Tights: required:  Allowed colors are navy, blue, white, khaki, brown, black, gray, red, yellow, burgundy, or green.  Girls may also wear pink or purple.
