Leptondale Christian Academy is a close-knit community of students and teachers. In fact, LCA is more than a community, we are a family. Because enrollment is limited our students and teachers become well acquainted even across grade levels. It is not uncommon to see a teacher sharing her lunch break with her class or to see students "visiting" with former teachers between classes. LCA students feel comfortable and safe to be themselves in an environment that allows this to happen.

For Leptondale Christian Academy teachers, education is more than a career; our teachers feel God has called them to teach at LCA and to do so with all their heart and ability is to bring honor and glory to God. Each child is a child that God has purposely placed in a classroom with a particular teacher and it's that teacher's job to teach and train that child. In addition to spending much time preparing for a class lesson, our teachers spend much time praying for their students.

When teachers who desire to serve God through teaching excellence are combined with parents who desire and support Christian education, the pace of learning is dramatically accelerated. On average, our students meet or surpass both national and state standards. Many of our graduates enroll in high school honors courses and receive academic recognition in both high school and college.
