History

LCA opened in the fall of 1980 as a ministry of Leptondale Bible Church. The school has been operating continually since then. There are presently 180 children in grades Pre-K through 8. An average class size of 17 students provides a positive academic setting where children are challenged at their individual ability level. With students consistently scoring at the top levels in standardized tests, Leptondale Christian Academy's quality education has prepared its alumni to go into high school and to pursue degrees in both public and private colleges and universities. Our alumni serve in all facets of our society and in many areas of Christian ministry.
